DEFINITIONS:CIFRA: media art platform –
cifra.comWebsite, Platform: cifra.comParticipant: The artist who created a CIFRA platform account, uploaded an artwork, and agreed to these
terms.
Artwork: An original piece created specifically for this open call or an existing artwork (completed prior
to the submission).
Theme (nomination): RestArt Reality
Requirements: Format – vertical or horizontal video, no limits on duration.
Accepted genres – any form of digital art — video art, animation, 3D, AI, glitch, hybrid cinema,
techno-culture, etc.
Jury: Composed of renowned figures from the art community, tasked with selecting works that best align
with the CIFRA Award theme.
CIFRA Award Winners: 5 (five) artists will each receive 1000 EUR.
1) ELIGIBILITY:a) The CIFRA Award (the “Award”) welcomes individual artists worldwide, regardless of nationality
or other protected characteristics.
b) All artworks must be the original, sole creation of the participant and submitted exclusively via
the CIFRA platform.

Current employees, affiliates, and immediate family members (spouse, parents, siblings, or
children) of CIFRA, its subsidiaries, or judging panel are prohibited from entering.
2) SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:a) To be eligible, Participants must maintain an active public User account on the CIFRA platform,
complete with bio, profile and cover images, and valid external links.
b) Participants must submit original artwork in digital format exclusively by uploading to the official
CIFRA website (
cifra.com); and include a written description of the artwork.
c) Submitted artworks must not contain, depict, or promote sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise
NSFW (Not Safe for Work) material; hate speech, defamatory statements, or discriminatory content; any
unlawful material or violations of third-party intellectual property rights.
d) CIFRA reserves the right to disqualify any submission that violates these standards, in its sole
discretion.
3) JUDGING PROCESS:a) The judging panel (“Jury”) shall comprise internationally recognized artists, curators, and arts
professionals selected by CIFRA. Jury members shall recuse themselves from evaluating any submission
where a conflict of interest exists.
b) Submissions will be assessed based on creative excellence and originality; relevance to and
interpretation of the Theme; technical execution and artistic impact.
c) All Jury decisions are final, binding, and not subject to appeal or review. No correspondence
regarding judging decisions will be entered.
d) CIFRA reserves the right to declare fewer winners than anticipated if submission quality
warrants; or withhold awards entirely if no entries meet the required standard.
4) PRIZES:a) Each Award consists of 1000 EUR (one thousand euros).

By accepting the award, the winner agrees that prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable,
and may not be redeemed for cash.
5) INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY:a) Participants retain full ownership and copyright of their submitted artworks.
b) By entering the Award, participants grant CIFRA a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license
to use, reproduce, and display the artworks for promotional purposes related to the Award and CIFRA
platform, including but not limited to social media, and publications (media outlets and websites).
c) Participants expressly warrant that they hold all necessary rights to grant this license. The
artwork does not infringe any third-party IP rights (including copyrights and/or trademarks, personal
rights) and any third-party material included is either properly licensed or used under fair use/fair
dealing exceptions.
6) PUBLICITY AND PROMOTION:a) CIFRA reserves the right to use participants' names, and biographical information for
promotional purposes without additional compensation.
b) Participants may be required to provide a short artist statement and high-resolution photos for
promotional materials, and/or participate in promotional interview for CIFRA social media and CIFRA TV
(if applicable).
c) By submitting materials or participating, artists grant CIFRA a non-exclusive, royalty-free license
to use these contributions solely for Award-related promotion across all media platforms. Artists warrant
that they hold all necessary rights to the submitted photos and that the use by CIFRA will not infringe
any third-party rights.
7) DISQUALIFICATION:a) CIFRA reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates the rules and regulations of
the Award.
b) CIFRA reserves the right to disqualify a participant and delete an artwork from the platform in
case third-party rights infringement.
8) LIABILITY:a) CIFRA and its affiliates shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred
during the submission process or the Award event.
9) AMENDMENTS AND TERMINATION:a) CIFRA reserves the right to amend or modify the rules and regulations of the Award at any time.
b) CIFRA may terminate or cancel the Award in the event of unforeseen circumstances or force
majeure.
10) GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION:a) The rules and regulations of the CIFRA Art Award shall be governed by and construed in
accordance with the laws of the emirate of Dubai, UAE.
b) Any disputes arising out of or in connection with the Award shall be subject to the exclusive
jurisdiction of the courts of the emirate of Dubai, UAE.
By participating in the CIFRA Art Award, participants acknowledge that they have read, understood, and
agreed to abide by the rules and regulations outlined above.
